Support of students in future-oriented STEM topic areas

Since the winter semester 2020/2021, the two foundations Stiftung der deutschen Wirtschaft (sdw) and Hans Hans Hermann Voss-Stiftung have launched a joined scholarship program. The Hans Hermann Voss-Stipendium within the sdw is geared to Bachelor and Master students of scientific and technical subjects (STEM), who have finished high school in the Oberbergischer Kreis, Märkischer Kreis or Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis district, or who are studying at a university in NRW.

The scholarship includes an interdisciplinary support program, a monthly financial support, as well as an extended support through a volunteer trustee at the university location. The amount of the scholarship depends on the income ratio. All students are getting an income-independent study cost flatrate of 300 Euro/month. Income depending, there is a scholarship of maximum 752 Euro/month. Additionally, Hans Hermann Voss-scholarship holders are receiving 400 Euro/month for further qualification in future-oriented areas – for example for supplementary specialist events or for networking.

Applications are possible exclusively online via the Stiftung der Deutschen Wirtschaft (sdw).
